Here’s our weekly shout out to some of the local events & happenings coming up this week/weekend.

Saturday 1 September:

Beer lovers might enjoy the FREE All About Malt Training Day starting at 9:00am being hosted by Brewmart Brewing Supplies at 32 Railway Parade in Bayswater. Details on their FB Page.

And sweet lovers can check out all the sugar action at the annual Perth Community Bake Off between 2 and 4PM at the Mount Hawthorn Hall. Hosted by Perth MLA John Carey, it should make for a fun afternoon!

Sunday 2 September:

How much is my property worth?
We'll prepare a full appraisal report of your property based on our vast local knowledge and market activity.
No addresses found. This could be a new address, or you may need to check the spelling.

Post Father’s Day brunch (or pre-lunch) duck out to check out the Dressing Room Markets at the back of the Rosemount Hotel from 10:00am to 3:00pm. With a focus on all things vintage including clothes, jewellery and household items, these popular markets are a magnet for local buyers and sellers alike.

Fans of the cult TV series Twin Peaks may want to book tickets to the Twin Peaks: Conversations with the Stars event at the Astor Theatre where you can meet 5 of the cast (sans Kyle MacLachlan unfortunately!) and the Executive Producer in a unique conversations with the stars event starting at 7:00pm. Deets on their FB events page.

And looking ahead, on Thursday the 6th of September the Little Cheese Shop is holding a Cheese Toasties & Beer night (another great gift idea for your Dad?!). Tickets are $80 and can be reserved via their FB event Page or at the store.

And last but not least we wish all the Father’s and those that take up the role of father figure in someone’s life a wonderful Father’s Day. Enjoy!
