If last Sunday’s brief respite from the rain got you thinking about getting your garden ready for Spring, then the City of Vincent are holding a Free Composting Workshop from 9:30 to 11:30. Whilst the event is free you’ll still need to book a ticket via their FB event page.
If you’re keen to do something different from the norm, head to the Rosemount Hotel for the WA Final of the Australian Poetry Slam 2018 from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Tickets are a very affordable $5 to $10.
After checking out the poetry head up Angove Street to Stomp Coffee‘s Cup Launch + LYF Fundraiser in celebration of their new plastic free, paper cups. There’s live music, beer & wine and funds raised goes to Leading Youth Forward (LYF), a charity working with at-risk Perth youth. It’s from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
And culture and music theatre lovers will no doubt enjoy WAAPA’s third year students performance of Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical Sunday In The Park with George which runs from the 25th of August to the 1st of September. Tickets from $37 to $43 and available via their FB event page.
If you’re looking for something to do for date nights, Henry on Eighth in May;ands has launched Tuesday Night Is Date Night where you and your loved one can share Date Night Tapas & Wine which includes three dishes from their tapas menu plus two glasses of wine for $55.
