The first Saturday morning of September each year sees the return of the Mondo Markets at the rear of Mondo Di Carne Butchers on the cnr of Sixth Avenue and Beaufort Street, Inglewood. Here you’ll find coffee, New Norcia breads and pastries, locally grown produce, eats and treats (including the ever popular carvery at the front of the store) to graze on and choose from.
There’s also a guy who sharpens your knives while you wait (I took mine down to get done and the difference was unbelievable!). The markets run from 8:00am to 12:00is all through Spring (and sometimes Summer). Call Mondo’s for more info.
