…ok, not exactly, but it’s another one! The ever growing array of speciality shops on Whatley Crescent has been added to again by the addition of Maine Home Garden Design , a vintage inspired homewares store that also offers free in-store design advice. When I popped in on the weekend I saw some gorgeous bracelets and homewares and lots of interesting bits and bobs for sale. Just two doors up From Maine is the also new Vintage Emporium (another fave stocking fabulous retro homewares and clothing) – if you haven’t been down Whatley Cres/Eighth Ave recently I strongly recommend giving yourself a couple of hours off to wander around, drink coffee and eat cake at one of the fabulous cafe’s and browse the gorgeous shops that are quickly making this one of the hottest retail/cafe strips in town.
