From 18 December 2013 Beaufort Street will have it’s own outdoor cinema – bamBOO Outdoor Cinema – at the bamBOO Lounge behind the Luxe Bar at 446 Beaufort St Highgate which will run until the end of Summer.
A collaboration between Luna Palace Cinemas & Luxe Bar, the cinema will screen a selection of contemporary favourites, cult classics and premieres starting with Blue Jamine, Gravity and Love Actually on the 18th, 19th & 20th of December respectively. You can download the full program here.
Cinema goers will be able to take advantage of the bar onsite (no BYO) and either bring their own food or pre-order pizza’s to be delivered from Ace Pizza next door. Let’s hope the initiative gets lots of local support and becomes a regular Summer event.
