Looking for somewhere new to try for breakfast away from the main drags?  Here’s five local cafes you might not be familiar with, in no particular order!

Noggo’s Kitchen and Coffee
38 Peninsula Road, Maylands

Noggos is family and fur child friendly and the locals that live in the area would probably prefer you didn’t know about it. The kitchen is influenced by a variety of cuisines so you’re guaranteed both traditional old faves plus something with a twist, like their Vietnamese braised beef open omelette. Yum

Panda & Co.
45/87 Bulwer Street, Perth

An Aussie/Asian cafe that puts out some seriously yummy dishes, like Smashed Avo with Edamame & Mint, Prosciutto & Fried Egg on Sour Dough. Follow them on Insta. Trust me.

Garden Cafe on Guildford
317 Guildford Road, Maylands

These guys serve seriously good poached eggs. Seriously. Good. Always happy to give them a shout out and if you’re sick of trying to find a park on Whatley Cres or Eighth Ave you should definitely head here instead.

Roast on Rothbury
S
hop 2/41 Rothbury Road, Bayswater

It’s not big on size but they roast their own coffee and make all their own food so its guaranteed fresh. They offer cooked breakfasts on weekends and a selection of sweet and savoury baked goods all week. Just a great little local.

Lincolns 102
1
02 Lincoln Street, Highgate

They’ve been there for a while but the fact that they’ve lasted so long in Perth’s fickle cafe scene is because they’re consistently good.  Nestled on a corner in the residential streets of Perth’s smallest suburb is Lincoln’s 102. They’ve got all your brekky faves but instead of the usual pancakes serve sweet and savoury crepes. If it’s been a while between visits go back and show them some local love!

And that’s our 5 out of the way breakfast spots to try! Know somewhere else we should be giving a shout out? Have some ideas for new 5 to trys? Let us know – we’d love to hear from you.
