The 2014 Angove Street Festival was without doubt the best yet, with the North Perth Primary School and Golden Days Vintage Market joining in to create a diverse, colourful and vibrant atmosphere that still managed to be intimate and family and community friendly. The quality and variety of the food and stalls on offer was fantastic and the established retail outlets and cafes looked like they were doing a roaring trade. There was plenty of entertainment at the two stages for those that wanted to sit back and take it all in and a cocktail lounge (and don’t forget the pub) for those desperate for a drink with more kick than coffee, but I actually think the lack of a bigger bar scene was a good thing and a nice differentiator from its Town of Vincent cousin.
But I’m not here to bang on about the festival, but let the pictures do the talking.
Here’s a wonderful album (click link) with in excess of 180 pics taken by Photographer/Film Maker YoannDerunes (you need Facebook access)
And some of my own pics below to give you an idea of what it was all about and hopefully entice you back in 2015. Enjoy.
